FMS is the screening tool used to identify limitations or asymmetries in seven fundamental movement patterns that are key to functional movement quality in individuals with no current pain complaint or known musculoskeletal injury

Both Dr. Brian and Dr. Sarah like to take an active approach in helping their patients return to maximum function. If a patient is interested, we give corrective stretches and stability exercises to help with muscle, tendon, ligament and joint pain. Research shows that movement is key to rehabilitating an injured area. Our doctors stay up-to-date with the latest research and effective correctional exercises, using advice from leaders in the field such as Gray Cook, Craig Liebenson, and more.

CK Performance Health is the only facility in Chatham-Kent currently offering this assessment.  Functional movement screening is a series of tests that assess the basic movement patterns of the body.  These tests allow the doctors to determine where imbalances and dysfunction exists in the body and to properly prescribe exercises to correct them.  By correcting these biomechanical issues, you can reduce your risk for injury at your job, the gym, or even playing with the kids. Fixing these issues also allows you to get the most out of your body.  We want you to live the life you love and functional movement screening helps you do that.
